The Walnut Club is a relaunch of the Prostex group which has been running since 2010 and had similar but more limited aims.
Group members are now taking a more active role in the organisation and management of the group, the creation of this website being part of that process, not only in order to publicise the group but to act as a channel to disseminate information to those who cannot or do not wish to attend the meetings.
Over a dozen members attended our inaugral November 2013 meeting which was intended to include a short presentation by a speaker. Unfortunately he was unable to attend but a very useful discussion was had to comment on the website launch; update contacts; plan future events; suggest useful topics for meetings; ask for members experiences of various modes of treatment; and so on.
Subsequent meetings have benefited greatly from a wide range of speakers and presentations.
